ID may be requested at the entrance. \nWheelchair Access\nWheelchair users can access all parts of the Corn Exchange\, with a suitable toilet in the basement and a lift serving all floors\, including street level. \nReal Ales – Main Hall:- Approx 160 real ales arranged alphabetically on two back-to-back bars\, includin: ales from local breweries. A full beer list will be available here in September. \nInternational Beers – Howard Room (upstairs)\nA range of draught and bottled foreign beers from Belgium\, Germany and other countries\, including breweries in Bamberg\, Bedford’s twin city in Bavaria. A full list will be available here in September. \nCider and Perry – Main Hall\nApprox 50 real ciders and perries on a separate bar at the left-hand end of the main hall. Suppliers will include local cider makers in Bedfordshire and neighbouring counties. A full cider list will be available here in September. \nMead – Main Hall \nWe will have no English wines this year but hope to offer a British mead stall run by a specialist operator\, at the right-hand end of the main hall. To be confirmed. \nFood – Howard Room\nHot and cold food\, snacks\, fruit juice and hot drinks are available from caterer Angelo St Cuthberts. Hot meals will be served every lunchtime and evening\, but cold snacks and hot drinks will be available throughout festival opening hours. The menu will be displayed around the venue.\nVisitors may not bring meals bought elsewhere into the venue. \nSoft Drinks – bars on both floors\nStill water and fizzy soft drinks will be available free of charge from the Cider and Foreign Beer bars for drivers or anyone needing a change from beer or cider. \nGlasses – Main Hall\nLined pint and half-pint glasses with the festival logo will be available on sale or return for £2.50. Cash in your glass when you leave or take it home as a souvenir. \nAll draught beers and ciders will be sold in full\, half and third pint measures.

DESCRIPTION:Bedford Proms takes place on Sunday 6th August in Bedford Park and our theme this year will be ‘Proms Goes To The Movies’. Expect all your favourite classics but also some exquisite renditions of popular film soundtracks\, which will appeal to the whole family.\nThe concert will feature some very special guest soloists. We are very excited to welcome back Australian Tenor Daniel Koek\, who wowed us in 2015 when he was our headline performer. Daniel played Jean ValJean in Les Miserables in the West End and his rendition of ‘Bring Him Home’\, was spine tingling. We were overwhelmed with requests to bring him back to Bedford and we are very pleased to welcome him back. The second act to be confirmed is rising classical star\, soprano Joanna Forest. Completing our line-up will be world renowned opera star Alison Buchanan\, originally from Bedford but now residing in America. Alison will fly back especially for our event. We are so excited to have three world class soloists on our concert line up. \nThe London Gala Orchestra and the Bedford Choral Society will return and the laser show begins in the second half when night time falls. The evening will conclude with a spectacular firework display. \nTo fit in with our movie theme\, we have some special additions to the night including the DeLorean Car from Back To The Future\, which will delight both adults and children alike! We also have some stunning owls joining us to fit in with a magical movie theme soundtrack\, we think both muggles and wizards will love them! Guests will be able to take pics\, and view the owls as well as ask their keepers any questions. Plus some other news to come! \nWe look forward to welcoming you back to Bedford Park for an evening of pomp and patriotism that the whole family can enjoy.
